Insurance

R.O.C. Ministry of Education Regulation governing International Students stipulates that students coming to Taiwan to study Mandarin should present documentary proof of medical and accident insurance when registering for Mandarin courses.
For students at the CLC, NCCU, this regulation takes effect at the beginning of the summer term of 2003. Students must have medical and accident insurance; otherwise their application will be invalid.
When applying for the insurance proceeds, please provide a photocopy of your bankbook (as the money will be transferred to your account directly) and the ID number you used for account application.

Medical Insurance
Students must present proof of medical insurance taken out in Taiwan or abroad on registration date. If students do not have insurance on their own, they must apply for the medical insurance provided through the CLC. The three-month medical insurance costs NT$1,500 ~1,800 per person.

Student Group Accident Insurance
Students who are enrolled in regular NCCU courses are covered by the university’s student group insurance policy. Other students must take out the insurance policy provided by the CLC. The three-month student group accident insurance costs NT$ 200 per person.
